Water-temperature insight

Water temperature drives the seasons of the bite — spawn, summer, fall transition. Lake Intelligence folds water-temperature data into each profile so you know what stage the fish are in before you launch.

Lake type intelligence

The same front that fires up fish on a shallow weedy lake can barely register on a clear highland reservoir. The app uses your lake's type to calibrate how every weather and temperature input translates into your score. Tag your water correctly and the score reflects the specific behavior of the fish you're chasing.

The app recognizes eight distinct lake types: Shallow Natural Lake, Flatland Reservoir, Highland Reservoir, Canyon/Desert Reservoir, Clear Cold Natural Lake, River System, Mesotrophic Lake, and Great Lakes Coastal Embayment. Each type shapes where bass position, which structural elements matter, and how conditions translate to activity.

Lake Intelligence draws on more than 65,000 pre-classified lakes across North America and hundreds of NOAA weather reporting stations spanning the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Hourly observations are refined into 30-minute environmental predictions, so your lake's profile stays current between official readings, not just at the top of the hour.
